Not much of a village stands on its own

Pros: A staff member met me at reception and checked me in which I was grateful for I used the gym I'm a bit of a nervous customer and it was busy so only stayed for a while. Wouldn't stay again Cons: Sink in room blocked, even with bathroom door shut traffic noise was constant through the night, breakfast limited

Pros: The bed was very comfortable, we just melted into sleep. Cons: When we arrived at reception, the receptionist was dealing with a customer, so we did self check in and not once did she acknowledge us. We found that unusual as we have stayed in other Village hotels and always found them exceptionally helpful at reception. The other members of staff in the bar, at breakfast and on reception were all very pleasant.
