Hotels in Alcañiz

Alcañiz is a historic hill town in Teruel province, eastern Aragón — a castle-topped old centre above the Guadalope river, with the castle itself converted into a Parador hotel. MotorLand Aragón, a few minutes outside town, brings the MotoGP circus to this genuinely remote corner of Spain each year, and that remoteness is the practical point: Alcañiz has only a modest supply of beds, and they go many months before race weekend at several times normal rates.

Nearby towns like Caspe take the overflow, and plenty of fans drive in from Zaragoza, about 100 km away. Outside racing it's a quiet, cheap and pleasantly untouristed base for the Bajo Aragón.
