Hotels in Arenzano

Arenzano is a small Ligurian seaside town on the Riviera di Ponente, close enough to Genoa to work as a quieter, cheaper alternative to staying in the city itself. It has a proper sandy beach, unusual for this stretch of coast where pebbles and rocks dominate, plus a pine-backed promenade and a casino that gives the place a faded touch of old-fashioned resort glamour.

Be honest: there isn't much to do here beyond the beach, a stroll through the old centre and decent seafood, and out of summer it goes quiet fast. Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport is a short drive away, making Arenzano a workable base if you want coast rather than city without adding much travel time. Stay as close to the seafront as possible, since that's where the town's actual appeal is concentrated.
