Chiclana de la Frontera sits on the Cádiz coast, best known for La Barrosa, one of the longest and most consistently rated beaches in Andalusia, backed by dunes and pine woods rather than high-rise concrete. It's also a golf destination, with several courses drawing a steady stream of northern European visitors outside peak summer. The old town itself is modest and largely residential, with sherry-bodega heritage but little in the way of major sights, so most travellers come for beach and golf rather than culture.
Be honest: in August it fills with Spanish domestic tourists and prices spike accordingly, while in winter much of the coastal strip feels half-shuttered.
