Hotels in Jerez de la Frontera

Jerez de la Frontera is one of Andalusia's most enjoyable cities in its own right: the home of sherry, with bodegas you can tour in the city centre, flamenco with real roots, and the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. The Circuito de Jerez, about ten minutes out of town, is Spanish motorcycling's spiritual home and hosts the World Superbike Spanish round as well as top-level bike racing generally.

Stay in the old town around Plaza del Arenal for the tapas bars and atmosphere — the circuit run is an easy taxi. Jerez has decent hotel depth, but bike weekends still fill it, with El Puerto de Santa María and Cádiz as coastal fallbacks.
