Hotels in Ronchamp

Compare prices from multiple booking suppliers and find the best hotel deal in Ronchamp.

Ronchamp is a small former mining town in the Haute-Saône, and it exists on the tourist map for exactly one reason: Le Corbusier's Notre-Dame du Haut, the 1955 pilgrimage chapel whose curved concrete roof and shafted light walls made it one of the most influential buildings of the twentieth century. Architecture pilgrims come for that alone, often as a day trip from Belfort or Besançon, and the nearby Poor Clares convent by Renzo Piano adds a second, quieter reason to linger.

Be honest: beyond the hill, Ronchamp itself is an unremarkable small town with little else to detain visitors, and its old mining identity has largely disappeared. With only nine hotels listed, choice is limited rather than curated, so book ahead in summer when coach parties for the chapel fill what rooms exist. Stay close to the town centre for easy access up to the chapel on foot, since Ronchamp has no real alternative district worth choosing instead.
