Hotels in Usaquén, Bogotá

Usaquén is the neighbourhood Bogotá's wealthy residents built as a summer escape — a colonial-era village absorbed by the expanding city but preserved as a distinct enclave of cobbled streets, a Sunday flea market that is one of the city's best, wine bars in converted houses and some of the finest restaurants in Colombia. It sits north of the main tourist circuit, a taxi ride from La Candelaria, but the Sunday market alone is worth the trip: antiques, leather, flowers, street food and a buzz that runs from morning to early afternoon. For a Bogotá base with safety, excellent food and genuine neighbourhood character.
