Hotels in Kazimierz, Kraków

Kazimierz is Kraków's former Jewish quarter and its most culturally layered neighbourhood — centuries of Jewish history read in synagogues, cemeteries and the streets of Szeroka, now also the location of Nowy Square's café-and-bar scene, weekend markets and the Schindler's Factory museum a short walk along the river. Bohemian, historically significant and gentrifying at a measured pace, it strikes a balance between vibrant present and sobering past. It suits culture-minded travellers who want a more local Kraków base: restaurants and bars are excellent, the atmosphere genuine, and the 15-minute walk to the Main Square rewards you with the whole city on your doorstep.
