About F1 Madrid Grand Prix 2026
The Formula 1 Madrid Grand Prix is Formula 1's newest race, a purpose-built 5.5-kilometre circuit within the IFEMA exhibition complex adjacent to Madrid's Barajas airport and just 20 minutes from the city centre by metro. It brings F1 back to the Spanish capital for the first time since Jarama last hosted in 1981. The 2026 weekend, Friday 18 September to Sunday 20 September, is a home race for the Spanish fans who have followed Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz with fierce passion for two decades.
