About F1 Madrid Grand Prix 2026
The Formula 1 Madrid Grand Prix is Formula 1's newest race, a purpose-built 5.5-kilometre circuit within the IFEMA exhibition complex adjacent to Madrid's Barajas airport and just 20 minutes from the city centre by metro. It brings F1 back to the Spanish capital for the first time since Jarama last hosted in 1981. The 2026 weekend, Friday 18 September to Sunday 20 September, is a home race for the Spanish fans who have followed Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz with fierce passion for two decades. Madrid's hotels, restaurants and nightlife are outstanding; stay centrally and ride the metro to the circuit. With the full city on offer, this is a race weekend that rewards building into a longer Spanish trip.

About Circuito de Madrid
The Circuito de Madrid, known as MADRING, is Formula 1's newest venue, a 5.5-kilometre circuit within the IFEMA exhibition complex alongside Barajas airport in Madrid's northeast. Five minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the city centre by metro, it is one of the most accessible circuits on the calendar. Madrid itself offers world-class restaurants, the Prado and Reina Sofía museums and electric nightlife that runs into the small hours. Book centrally in the capital and ride the metro; rooms across the city will be in demand for a home Spanish grand prix.
