A delight. I felt welcome and comfortable and exactly what I wanted from a couple of days in Hong Kong.

Pros: A delightful host, kind, helpful and great communication. Which is Especially good as a solo traveller. Right in the heart of the village, a real immersion into Hong Kong life. Lots of food options close by and nice walks. Very clean and the room was spacious. Extremely efficient air con, which was much needed! Yummy breakfast and delicious coffee! Very glad I went here rather than a resort or city hotel. Cons: The walk from the taxi stand/bus park didn’t worry me, but can be challenging with luggage in the heat. The spotless and spacious room, the service trolley for refreshments, the wooden stairs, the quietness, and closeness to bus terminal, local restaurants and cafes.

Overall we had a lovely stay

Pros: Veronica was a lovely host and very helpful. The location is very close to the bus stop and ferry, so very convenient for my 87 year old mother. The accommodation provides snacks and tea making facilities on the first floor. Tai O is beautiful and quiet, away from HK’s hustle and bustle. Cons: The shower facilities in the bath tub was not suitable for my mother, who is 87 years old.

I enjoyed my stay and the opportunity to experience an original fishing village.

Great room and great host.

Beautiful, large room in a great location. Veronica is a super host who goes above and beyond for everyone. The breakfast is the best we had in our 11 days in Hong Kong.
