Gatsby Athens

Beautiful hotel, great beds, helpful friendly staff.

Pros: The Gatsby is in a great central location in. Athens, a close walk from Syntagma square. The rooms have the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in (the most important thing for a hotel stay). The maintenance of the rooms is first class. The staff are friendly and superbly helpful. The barman makes excellent cocktails (the best Negroni I've had). Cons: The breakfast and coffee provided need improvement to make the stay perfect.

Great location. Loud bar across the street (weekend) but earplugs helped. Excellent staff, very nice attached restaurant and bar, great breakfast. We stayed at Grand Bretagne for most of our stay in Athens so if I think Gatsby was nice, it’s nice.

The best stay in Athena

Our stay at Gatsby Athens was absolutely perfect! The room was simply stunning, and the service was exceptional. The staff made us feel so welcome and truly cared about every detail. The location is unbeatable, making it easy to explore the city. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would love to return. Highly recommended!

Pros: Great location, very good breakfast. We always book the Gatsby when staying in Athens, a short walk to our favourite restaurant Louis. Cons: Nothing to dislike
