Great minus the renos
Pros: Wonderful and helpful staff, good breakfast and location Cons: Inconvenience of the current works and no pool on site - would have been good to know sooner or offered refund

Great minus the renos
Pros: Wonderful and helpful staff, great rooms and a decent breakfast. Close to Orchard Rd and good transport links. Cons: Its great to see that works are happening to upgrade but it would have been good to know before booking or offered a refund. We appreciated the alternative arrangement for the pool but it was a big inconvenience and that was the main reason we booked here.

A great "base" to stay in Singapore - especially if you're there to shop, or for the entertainment!
Pros: The people. Saravanan and Irfan and the other gentleman at the reception whose name escapes me at the moment made our stay special! Having said that - It's very hard reviewing hotels in Singapore because one spends so little time in them. This time though we had an excellent meal at the Indian restaurant which was excellent - and singlehandedly handled by Mr. Saravanan, who did an excellent job, catering to our whole group of tired, crazy shoppers! Cons: The hotel did inform us that there were renovations being undertaken during our stay there, so we weren't surprised when there was noi
