Hotels near Singapore Changi Airport (SIN)

If your priority is minimising transfer time, the Ambassador Transit Hotel in Terminal 2 is about as close as it gets — it sits inside the terminal itself, so there's no landside journey at all, just useful for a genuine airside layover rather than a proper night's stay.

That said, "close" and "convenient" aren't quite the same thing at Changi. The airport sits well out on the eastern edge of Singapore, so a hotel within that 3 km band suits people whose whole reason for being here is the flight — crew, transit passengers, early departures — rather than anyone hoping to spend the evening out. If your schedule has any slack, basing yourself in the city proper is genuinely worth considering; Singapore's transport links to Changi are reliable enough that the extra distance rarely causes problems, and you gain access to a much wider spread of dining, sights and price points.

The honest trade-off, then, is convenience versus context: stay airport-side for a stress-free connection, or head into town if you want the trip to feel like more than a stopover.
