Value Hotel Balestier

Staff was very helpful , rooms are good value for money and they provide almost everything in the room , location is in front of the bus station

Good location but room is small and claustrophobic

Pros: Location is very good. Bus stop is right outside. Bus 124 goes to Newton mrt in 10 minutes. 5 minute walk to Whampoa hawker centre. Also there's a new self service laundromat one block away. S$7 for 30 min cycle. The TV has improved with local tv stations and youtube. Cons: Something should be done about the integrated tea coffee making kettle tray. It takes up the entire tiny desk. There's no place to put my laptop. Overall the room is small with no window. Once the door closes there's no sense of time or what's happening outside.

Veey congested, uncomfortable stay

Pros: It was not a hotel, one should rate it as motel as tbwy dont even provide water bottles. The rooms are so small that it is not even convinient for one person to stau in that room, let alone 2 Cons: There was no space to even open suitcase, no proper space to sit on comode, really bad room

Pros: Staff were friendly Cons: Rooms are too small no windows feels like your in a prison cell yet very expensive £250 for 3 nights bathroom was very tiny didn't bother with the shower as the was no space you would have to stand right next to the toilet if you were to take a shower
