Hotels in Écommoy

Écommoy is a small market town in the Sarthe department, south of Le Mans, and it is not a destination in its own right — most visitors pass through en route to the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit or are travelling the A28 motorway that runs nearby. The town centre is modest: a church, a market square, a handful of shops, and little in the way of sightseeing.

What it offers instead is a quiet, cheaper base within easy reach of Le Mans itself, useful during race weekends when the city's own hotels are booked solid and overpriced. There's no real reason to linger here outside of motorsport events or as a stopover on a longer drive south. With only six hotels listed, choice is limited, so book early if you're coming for Le Mans. Stay here if you want motorway access and a break from Le Mans prices; otherwise base yourself in Le Mans for anything beyond a night's sleep.
