Hotels in Ennis

Ennis is County Clare's main town, a medieval market centre built around narrow, curving streets that still follow their original layout, with a fine Franciscan friary and a lively trad-music pub scene that draws on the same Clare heritage as Doolin and Miltown Malbay. It's the natural base for the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and the Wild Atlantic Way, without the tourist-town pricing of Doolin itself.

Ennis itself is a working town rather than a destination in its own right, and its streets weren't built for modern traffic, so driving through the centre can be slow and parking limited. Stay near the town centre for pubs and walkability, or close to Shannon Airport if you're catching an early flight.
