Hotels in Hinckley

Hinckley is a market town in Leicestershire, best known as a stop for the National Space Centre crowd and business travellers working the M69/A5 corridor rather than as a destination in its own right. Its history runs deeper than the ring roads suggest — it's one of England's older market towns, with a coaching-inn heritage and a modest hosiery and footwear past that shaped the place before those industries declined.

There isn't much to detain a leisure visitor for more than an afternoon, and the town centre is functional rather than charming. The main draw for a slightly longer stay is Kirby Muxloe Castle nearby, a compact moated ruin worth an hour if you're passing through. We list six hotels here, mostly geared towards business and transit stays rather than tourism. Stay central near the town centre if you want easy access to shops and the station; pick something closer to the A5 if you're here for the road links rather than the town itself.
