Hotels in Lohmar

Lohmar is a small town in the Bergisches Land, on the eastern edge of the Cologne-Bonn conurbation, and it isn't a destination in its own right so much as a green, quiet base for people who need to be near Cologne Bonn Airport or working in the Rhein-Sieg region without paying city rates. The wooded hills and the Agger river give it a genuine outdoor-recreation appeal — cycling and hiking routes are the main local draw — but there's little in the way of sights, nightlife or restaurants beyond the everyday.

Be honest: you're not coming to Lohmar for Lohmar, you're coming because it's cheaper and calmer than Cologne or Bonn and still a manageable drive or transit ride into either. With 13 hotels listed, choice is modest but enough for short business or airport stays. Stay close to the town centre or near the main road links if you want easy access to Cologne Bonn Airport, since Lohmar itself has no rail station and depends on connecting bus routes.
