Hotels in Milpitas

Milpitas sits at the northern tip of Silicon Valley, wedged between San Jose and Fremont, and it functions almost entirely as a working suburb rather than a destination in its own right. The name that most people recognize is the Great Mall, a converted auto-assembly plant turned outlet shopping center, and the city's other real draw is proximity: it's a short hop from Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport and close to the tech campuses that dominate this part of the Bay Area.

There's little here in the way of sightseeing or nightlife, and most visitors are corporate travelers, conference attendees, or families using it as a cheaper, quieter base than San Jose proper. Stay near the Great Mall or along the main commercial corridor close to I-880 and I-680, which keeps you within easy reach of SJC and the Silicon Valley office parks most people are actually here to visit.
