Hotels in Rosemount, Aberdeen

Rosemount sits above the city centre on Aberdeen's west side — a residential grid of granite tenements, independent butchers, fishmongers, a beloved hardware shop and the kind of coffee-and-cake café that fills from 8am. It is not on any tourist map; that is the point. The postcard granite is here too, but wrapped around a working neighbourhood rather than a hotel strip. Ten minutes' walk down the hill reaches Union Street; five minutes takes you to Duthie Park and its excellent David Welch Winter Gardens. For a quieter, more authentic Aberdeen base away from the nightlife, Rosemount earns its place.
