Hotels for WeihnachtsZauber Gendarmenmarkt 2026

This is Berlin's market in a white tent city on Gendarmenmarkt, the square framed by the Konzerthaus and the French and German churches. A heated craft tent houses glassblowers, goldsmiths and candle makers, along with the WeihnachtsZauberBar, while the food leans Bavarian and Austrian, with Kaiserschmarren and Bohemian and Berlin specialities, and gourmet restaurants run in heated, decorated tents.

Performers take the stage daily, from musicians and dancers to acrobats and fire artists, and the market closes with fireworks on 31 December. There is an entry charge, waived for under-12s and for weekday lunchtimes. The nearest stations are Stadtmitte on the U6, Hausvogteiplatz on the U2 and Friedrichstraße on the S-Bahn.
