NYX Hotel Dublin Portobello

Lovely but expensive

Pros: Lovely property located in a good spot Cons: We had an awful view of the back where they store the bins. Absolutely surrounding by building works that we no prior knowledge of.

Comfortable and not quite cheap stay in a good location

Pros: Modern hotel, very comfortable beds, good location in Portobello (unfortunately currently a construction site next door, which only disturbs when outside). Good breakfast. Cons: Windows in the room cannot be opened. Rather impersonal staff - I was there for a week and was greeted 'new' every morning. Still, friendly staff.

Very clean, staff were very friendly, helpful and professional, nothing was too much trouble.

Pleasant stay in Dublin

Pros: Beautiful decor in the hotel lobby: location is OK - close to tram station and not far to walk for airport bus stops (less than 10mins). Room was a decent size and clean. WiFi was fine. Cons: A minor point but room cleaning could be improved - dirty cups & saucers not replaced; tea not stocked up. Only water only arrival. Loud when next to the lift.
