Hotels in Temple Bar, Dublin

Temple Bar is Dublin's cultural quarter on the south bank of the Liffey — a tight grid of cobbled streets packed with pubs, music venues, galleries, the Irish Film Institute and a Saturday food and craft market. The Ha'penny Bridge crosses the Liffey from its northern edge, and Trinity College is to the east across College Green. Central to the point of being inescapable, it's lively at all hours and genuinely loud on weekend nights. It suits first-time visitors and pub lovers who want to stay among Dublin's busiest pub streets; light sleepers should know what they're signing up for. For sheer location, nothing beats being inside the city's most famous quarter.
