Hotels in Alcobendas

Alcobendas is a business-and-industry suburb north of Madrid, home to corporate offices and light-industry parks rather than any tourist draw of its own. Most visitors end up here for work meetings or because it sits conveniently close to Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, not for sightseeing. Be honest: there's little reason to base yourself here if you want to see the Prado, the Reina Sofía or the Royal Palace, all of which are a proper commute away in central Madrid, and the town itself has no real historic centre or landmark worth detouring for.

What it does offer is quieter streets, easier parking and lower rates than the capital, which suits corporate travellers and anyone with an early flight. Stay in Alcobendas if you're attending a nearby office or need to be near MAD; otherwise base yourself in central Madrid to actually enjoy the city.
