Hotels in Cupertino

Cupertino means one thing: Apple, whose ring-shaped Apple Park campus dominates both the skyline and the local economy. The town itself is quiet, suburban Silicon Valley — good schools, wide streets, strip malls, and a downtown that barely registers, since most visitors are here on business rather than as tourists.

Rents and hotel rates track Silicon Valley money, so don't expect bargains. It's a short drive from Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC), which makes it a practical overnight stop even if you're not visiting Apple itself. Stay near Apple Park if your trip is work-related, since that's where the town's actual activity is concentrated.
