Hotels in East Rutherford

East Rutherford is a small Bergen County borough in the New Jersey Meadowlands, known almost entirely for one thing: MetLife Stadium, home to the Giants and Jets and a regular stop for major concerts and events. There isn't much of a town to speak of beyond that — this is a functional, industrial-edged place built around parking lots, sports bars and event traffic, not a destination in its own right.

You'd stay here for a game or a show, not for East Rutherford itself, and on non-event days it can feel fairly dead. Its real advantage is logistics — it's close to the Meadowlands complex and has quick road and rail links into Manhattan, putting the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Central Park, the Met and Brooklyn Bridge all within reach for day trips.
