Hotels in Goodyear

Goodyear sits on the western edge of the Phoenix metro area, and its name comes directly from the tire company that once ran cotton and rubber operations here before the land turned into master-planned suburbia. Today it's best known as spring training home to the Cleveland Guardians and Cincinnati Reds, whose shared stadium draws a solid crowd of baseball tourists every March. Outside of that window, Goodyear functions mostly as a bedroom community for Phoenix commuters, with golf courses, chain restaurants and desert-mountain views toward the Estrella and White Tank ranges rather than any real tourist infrastructure.

Be honest: there's little reason to base yourself here unless you're catching a game or have business in the West Valley, and the hotel selection reflects that — practical, mid-range properties built for visiting families and corporate travelers rather than destination stays. Stay near the Goodyear Ballpark if you're here for spring training; otherwise you're better off closer to central Phoenix for anything beyond baseball.
