Hotels in Richardson

Richardson sits just north of Dallas, and it functions less as a destination in its own right than as a corporate suburb: this is the heart of the "Telecom Corridor," home to tech offices, back-office campuses and the business travelers who staff them. With around 110,815 residents, it's a functional, low-density city of office parks and arterial roads rather than a walkable downtown, though the CityLine development has added some genuine density and restaurants worth seeking out.

There's a sizable Asian population and, with it, some of the best Korean and Vietnamese food in the Dallas area, concentrated along Greenville Avenue and Buckingham Road. Be honest: there's little here for leisure travelers beyond that food scene, and evenings can feel dead if you're not tied to a nearby employer. It's a reasonable, cheaper alternative to staying in Dallas proper if your business is in this corridor, and Dallas Love Field is a manageable drive away. Stay near CityLine if you want walkable dining options after work; otherwise pick a hotel close to your specific office park to cut down on commute time.
