Hotels in Sherwood Park

Sherwood Park is a suburb of Edmonton, technically an "urban service area" within Strathcona County rather than its own incorporated city, and it functions accordingly: a bedroom community for people who work in Edmonton or the surrounding oil and gas industry, not a tourist stop. There's no real skyline or old-town core to speak of — Be honest: the draw here is proximity and price, not sights.

Kinsmen Park and the walking trails along the ravine give it some green space, and Broadmoor Lake Park is a decent spot for an afternoon, but you're not building a trip around them. What it does well is act as a quieter, cheaper alternative to staying in Edmonton proper, with easy road access into the city. Stay near Baseline Road or Wye Road for the fastest routes into Edmonton and the best cluster of restaurants and services nearby.
