Hotels in Surbiton

Surbiton is suburban south-west London at its most agreeable — Edwardian parades, riverside walks along the Thames towards Kingston, and one of the fastest rail runs into Waterloo (around 20 minutes), which is exactly why people stay here.

It's quieter and better value than central London, with Kingston's shops and riverside pubs one stop or a stroll away, and Hampton Court Palace upstream on the Thames. Don't expect nightlife or sights of its own — this is a base, and a good one. Stay near the station for the commuter-speed line into town, or towards the river for the calmer end.
