Hotels in Artémida

Artemida, still known locally as Loutsa, is a sandy beach town in eastern Attica about ten kilometres from Athens International Airport, making it the closest coastal base to Greece's main hub. Its long beach splits into sections including Diastavrosi and Limni, both regular Blue Flag holders, and windsurfing is popular along this stretch.

A few kilometres inland, the Sanctuary of Artemis at Brauron preserves a fifth-century BC religious site once central to ancient Greek ritual. This is a functional airport-adjacent beach town rather than a historic destination, so don't expect much beyond the seafront and an old-fashioned high street. Stay near the seafront for the beach and quick airport transfers.
