Égletons is a small market town in the Corrèze department, deep in the Limousin countryside, and it exists more as a functional stop than a destination in its own right. Most people who end up here are passing through on the N89 between Tulle and Ussel, or have business with the town's aeronautical training school, which is one of the few reasons it registers nationally at all.

There's a lake, Lac de Servières, nearby for a swim or a walk, and the old town has a handful of stone houses worth a wander, but be honest: this isn't a place with much to detain a tourist for more than an afternoon.
