Hotels in Luton

Luton is known first and foremost for one thing: London Luton Airport, a major base for budget carriers and the reason most visitors end up here at all. The town itself is a former hat-making centre that never quite found a replacement industry, and its centre reflects that — functional rather than pretty, with little to detain anyone for a second day.

You're not coming for Luton itself, you're coming through it. That said, it's a genuinely useful base — the Warner Bros. Luton is also on a direct rail line into central London, so it works as a cheaper overnight stop for the capital.
