Hotels in Orly

Orly is a satellite town south of Paris whose name is known to millions of travellers purely because of Paris-Orly Airport, the city's second gateway after Charles de Gaulle and the main hub for domestic and short-haul European flights. There's little reason to linger in the town itself: it's a modest suburban commune of around 20,500 people, without the sights that draw visitors to central Paris — the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, the Champs-Élysées and Bastille are all a proper RER or metro journey away.

Be honest: this is an airport stopover destination, not a base for sightseeing, and the area around it is functional rather than charming. Stay near the airport itself if you're catching a morning departure or landing late; if you have any time to explore Paris, base yourself in the city and treat Orly purely as a transit point.
