Hotels in Rungis

Rungis is best known for one thing: the Marché International de Rungis, the vast wholesale food market that supplies much of Paris its meat, fish, cheese and produce, and which draws chefs, food professionals and the occasional curious tourist on early-morning trade tours. Beyond the market, the town itself is a quiet, low-rise commuter suburb with little in the way of sightseeing, and most visitors are here for logistics rather than leisure.

Be honest: this is not a base for soaking up Parisian atmosphere — the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame and the Champs-Élysées are all a proper trip into the city, not a stroll. What Rungis does offer is proximity to Paris-Orly Airport, making it a practical overnight stop before an early flight or a landing pad for market business. Stay here if you need easy airport access or market entry at dawn; otherwise base yourself in central Paris and treat Rungis as a functional stopover, not a destination.
