Hotels in Tustin

Tustin is an Orange County suburb best known for the two enormous wooden blimp hangars left over from its days as a World War Two naval air station, now local landmarks that loom over the flat sprawl of tract housing and shopping centers. Old Town Tustin has a handful of restored Craftsman-era streets and decent restaurants, and the newer District at Tustin Legacy adds chain shopping and cinema, but neither gives you much reason to linger.

Be honest: this isn't a destination in itself, it's a convenient, quieter base for people doing Disneyland or business in central Orange County who don't want to pay Anaheim prices or deal with Anaheim traffic. With only five hotels in our catalog here, choice is limited, but the location works: John Wayne Orange County Airport is a short drive away, and Disneyland is close enough for an easy day trip without the resort-district markup. Stay near the airport side of town if you're flying in or out, since it cuts commute time both to SNA and up the freeway to Disneyland.
