Hotels in Hawthorne

Hawthorne is a working-class city in the South Bay, best known these days as the home of SpaceX's headquarters and factory, which draws a steady stream of aerospace visitors and rocket-watchers rather than tourists chasing sights. It has no real attractions of its own worth planning a trip around; its appeal is almost entirely about proximity, sitting a short drive from LAX and close enough to Hollywood Boulevard, the Walk of Fame and LACMA for day trips into central LA.

Be honest: this is a place to sleep and drive from, not a destination, and the streets around the SpaceX campus can feel industrial and light on charm after dark. Stay near the SpaceX/Crenshaw Boulevard corridor if you're here for business, or closer to the 105 freeway if you want the fastest run to the airport or into Los Angeles proper.
