Hotels in Lenexa

Lenexa sits in Johnson County, Kansas, part of the suburban sprawl south of Kansas City, and it's built around business parks, corporate offices and the kind of family life that comes with good schools rather than any single headline attraction. It calls itself the "Spinach Capital of the World" on the strength of a long-gone canning industry, and leans into that with an annual Spinach Festival, but the civic identity is otherwise modest.

What it does well is Old Town Lenexa, a walkable strip of restored buildings with breweries and restaurants, and City Center, a newer public square with a farmers market and green space. Be honest: this is not a tourist destination, and most visitors are here for work, sports tournaments, or nearby family, not sightseeing. Stay near City Center or the business park district along College Boulevard for easy access to restaurants and quick highway runs into Kansas City.
