Hotels in Neukölln, Berlin

Neukölln is Berlin's fast-changing melting pot, where Middle Eastern bakeries and shisha bars along Sonnenallee sit beside the natural-wine bars and galleries that earned the northern edge its Kreuzkölln nickname. The Sunday canal market on the Maybachufer, the sprawling green expanse of the former Tempelhof airfield, and the buzzing bars off Weserstrasse set the tone. It suits adventurous, budget-minded travellers who want nightlife and diversity over comfort. Grittier and less polished than its neighbours, it can feel raucous after dark; the U7 and U8 connect it, and rooms are among the cheapest close to the action.
