Hotels in Moabit, Berlin

Moabit is an island district, ringed by the Spree and canals and long overlooked, which is exactly its appeal for travellers wanting real Berlin at fair prices. The Arminiusmarkt, a restored nineteenth-century market hall, anchors a working neighbourhood of Turkish grocers, craft breweries and the leafy Kleiner Tiergarten. The main station, Hauptbahnhof, sits on its southern edge, and the government quarter and Tiergarten park are a short stroll away. It suits independent travellers and rail arrivals who value convenience and calm over buzz. Quiet, residential and safe, with U9 and S-Bahn links, though nightlife is limited.
