Oval Invincibles bring south London's most famous cricket ground — The Kia Oval in Kennington — to The Hundred 2026, with match days through the tournament window from 21 July to Finals Day on 16 August. The Oval has a character unlike any other London ground: the famous gasholders behind the Vauxhall End, the Members' pavilion and the big crowd energy of a Hundred double-header combine to make match nights here genuinely atmospheric.

Individual match days vary across the window — check the fixture list for Oval games. Oval tube on the Northern line is directly outside the ground, and Vauxhall station with its rail and Victoria line links is five minutes' walk. Stay in central London or near Vauxhall for easy access to the ground and the whole city.

The Hundred, launched by the ECB in 2021, is a 100-ball city-based competition pairing men's and women's teams on shared match days, and its most successful club so far plays at the Kia Oval. Surrey's home in Kennington since 1845, the Oval staged the first Test match ever played in England, against Australia in 1880, and by long tradition still hosts the final Test of each English summer.

Framed by the Victorian gasholders behind the Vauxhall End, it was where Len Hutton compiled his then-world-record 364 against Australia in 1938 and where England regained the Ashes in 2005. Oval Invincibles have made the ground a stronghold in the new format: the men completed a hat-trick of titles from 2023 to 2025, while the women won the first two editions in 2021 and 2022, making the Invincibles the standout name of The Hundred's early history.

One of cricket's great arenas, The Oval in Kennington traditionally closes the English Test summer and hosts limited-overs and T20 nights under lights. South of the river, the neighbourhood mixes Georgian terraces, riverside walks toward Vauxhall and a cluster of relaxed pubs. The Northern line stops at Oval right outside, with Vauxhall's rail and Victoria line links a short walk away. Staying close by turns a full day's play into an easy amble home rather than a long trek across town.
