Hotels in Chiado, Lisbon

Chiado is Lisbon's elegant, central shopping and café district — historic theatres, the storied A Brasileira café, smart boutiques and a refined air, bridging the grand downtown Baixa and the nightlife of Bairro Alto. Beautifully placed and well-connected, it lets you walk to most of central Lisbon while sleeping somewhere polished and characterful. It suits travellers who want classic, sophisticated Lisbon with great shopping and dining, and quieter nights than Bairro Alto next door. Prices sit above the older quarters, but few areas offer such an easy, central and attractive base in the city.
