Hotels in Lee's Summit

Lee's Summit is a Kansas City suburb that grew up as a railroad town and now functions mostly as commuter territory, with a historic downtown of brick storefronts, antique shops and a decent handful of local restaurants and breweries that give it more character than the average bedroom community. It's known locally for Unity Village, headquarters of the Unity spiritual movement, and for its parks and trail system, but there's no single attraction that pulls in out-of-town visitors on its own.

Be honest: most people end up here for a wedding, a youth sports tournament, or because it's cheaper and quieter than staying in downtown Kansas City, not because Lee's Summit itself is a destination. Stay near downtown Lee's Summit if you want walkable restaurants and bars in the evening; stay near the highway interchanges if you're just passing through or need easy access to Kansas City.
