Hotels in Olathe

Olathe is a Kansas City suburb in Johnson County, one of the more affluent parts of the metro, and it functions mostly as a bedroom community rather than a destination in its own right. It's grown fast on the back of corporate employers like Garmin, whose headquarters here brings a steady stream of business travelers, and there's decent green space around Lake Olathe and the Prairie Center trail system for anyone wanting a break from meetings.

Be honest: there's little reason to visit Olathe for tourism — the draws are family, work, or spillover from Kansas City proper when downtown hotels are pricier or full. Stay near the Kansas Highway 7 and I-35 corridor, which puts you close to Garmin's campus and the main retail strips while keeping quick highway access into Kansas City itself.
