Hotels near Dublinia

A covered stone bridge arches over the street from Christ Church Cathedral to the Synod Hall, a Gothic Revival building with a tall tower, home to Dublinia. The museum fills the old hall with the story of Viking and medieval Dublin. Visitors can explore reconstructed streets, a merchant's house and market stalls, alongside displays of objects and human remains recovered from excavations around the city. Hands-on displays sit alongside the archaeology, giving younger visitors plenty to touch and try. St Michael's Tower is part of the building and can be climbed for views across the rooftops towards the Liffey. Christ Church Cathedral, with its nave and crypt, stands at the other end of the bridge. Trains arrive at Dublin Heuston and flights at Dublin Airport. Stay in Dublin to be close to the museum.
